GENERAL TASTING NOTES

Barons Red
Youthful purple hue to the cork with spice and concentrated red fruits. The fruit is well defined and is held nicely in place by the tart acidity. The softer elements of the fruit last well and the finish is beautifully rounded.. So much depth & character already this will continue to improve.

Huxelrebe
Intense fresh citrus nose with a backdrop of soft white fruits. Pinpoint fruit is undercut by zippy acidity with a fine cutting finish. Perky tart apple and fresh fruits off-set by sublime acidity which keeps the fruit exact and poised. Superb finish and structure with tons of gorgeous chewy fruits.

Muller-Thurgau
Lemony light gold colour with gentle youthful floral fruits notes with hints of apple and pear. The fruit and acidity are perfectly in tune and deliver a refreshing very easy to drink wine, which has a nice full and slightly spicy depth.

Pinot Gris
Youthful mix of spice, minerals and tropical fruits. On the palate there is an abundant richness to pure, intense fruit and the finely tuned acidity creates a multi layered mouthful. Poise and verve with subtle steel and structure. and has a lingering finish. This is ideal for current drinking, especially for the spicy character.

Sparkling
Good mousse with tiny well formed bubbles that fill the glass. Lively fresh mousse with loads of rushing, but perfect, streams of bubbles. Crisp apple notes – very youthful with some autolytic notes developing. On the palate a rush of youthful zippy fruit with a lovely mineral finish. – try it – enjoy it.

Bacchus
Appealing fruit notes mingle with floral aromas and dashes of light citrus hints. The palate is fresh off-dry with a mouth filling creaminess. A subtle tartness to the fruit combines with tart acidity to produce poise and zesty finish. Perfect as a refreshing aperitif.

Signature
Quietly intense, not overt, delivering hints of greengage, gooseberry and slight floral notes. Stunning richness to the palate. The acidity goes into overdrive, ensures purity throughout. There is a real zip to the mineral structure, pure fruit balanced, excellent wine and so clean.

Pinot Blanc
Apples, pears and soft white floral hints dominate the nose. On the palate the acidity gently lifts the fresh apple notes to give a ripeness to the mid palate. Youthful zip and purity this really delivers.. So much depth & character already this will continue to improve & will be a perfect foil to smoked fish.

Pinot Noir
Brilliant salmon rose pink Summery gently strawberry notes with a soft mouth structure. The acidity opens out to lift the fruit to deliver a rosé of depth, structure and finesse. Really appealing and so pure. – perfect for all occasions

Chardonnay
Vibrant intensity on the nose, full of crisp apples. Mouth watering acidity highlights the fruit notes and defines the multi layers of mineral and apple. Real zip and attack, well tuned and a rapier like finish – a wine that delivers! Ideal for current drinking over the next year or so.
