New Hall Vineyard is
a
family run
English Wine Producer with over 100 acres of vines, It
was first established by the Greenwood family, in the
small Essex village of Purleigh in 1969 and is one of
the oldest and largest English Vineyards in the Country.
The grape vines grown at New Hall were carefully
selected and have been planted only 12m to 24m above
sea level, on well-sheltered, southern facing slopes of
a shallow valley.
Which over the years this site has proven itself to be
an almost ideal place,
for the growing of vines in England. Producing, above
average crops of high quality grapes with naturally
high sugars, each year.
New Hall Vineyards is open Mon - Friday
9am to 4pm and Sat 9am to 1.30pm, free of charge, where
visitors welcome to taste some of
wines in the cellar shop under the house and walk along the Vineyard
Trail.
FREE OF CHARGE
Special Guided Tours can be booked during
the summer for groups of 14 of more.

The next event at
New Hall Vineyards is our Christmas Wine Sale Weekend on the 3rd and 4th
of December.
This weekend is an
annual free event for all our customers to stock up on wine before
Chritmas. Discount prices and personalised labels available for
that special gift.
Mulled wine, mince
pies and sausage rolls availble. All donations received go to
charity.
Childrens
craft and fun area, FREE Santas Grotto, lots of Christmas
displays to walk around.
A great festival
